Dr. Zubair Sacranie - Practice Principal

Dr. Zubair Sacranie is a highly qualified and experienced clinician in the fields of cosmetic dentistry and dental implantology. He qualified from the Dundee Dental School in 2000 thereafter completing his two year General Professional Training Scheme. During this time Dr.Sacranie had training in implant and complex restorative dentistry as well as in orthodontics and peadiatric dentistry. Dr Sacranie worked in a private dental practice in Coventry for four years before becoming the Principal and owner of the Solihull Dental Centre & Implant Clinic. He is also the practice principle at Water Orton Dental Centre.

In addition to being a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Dr.Sacranie has been awarded a Certificate of Implant Dentistry from Warwick University and attained his Master of Science degree in Dental Implantology at Sheffield University in 2009. He has worked extensively throughout the UK with leading cosmetic and implant surgeons.

Dr. Sacranie routinely receives referrals from other dentists for restorative and implant dentistry as well as for facial aesthetics and botox treatments, the latter which he has been providing for over four years.

   With my very skilled and enthusiastic team of associates, hygienist and dental nurses, I enjoy using the latest technology and dental techniques to provide exceptional dental care for my patients. I try my best to create a cheerful and relaxed environment to allow my patients to enjoy their dental experience.   

Dr. Sacranie has an additional dental practice in Water Orton, and he is one of three partners of the BST Dental Group which have established dental practices in Shirley, Lower Quinton, Hockley Heath, Balsall Common and Alumn Rock.

Dr. Zaheer Abbas Bhanji

Dr Zaheer Abbas Bhanji qualified from The University of Sheffield in 2006 & completed his Royal College of Surgeons Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties in 2009. He is currently studying for his Master of Science degree in Restorative & Aesthetic Dentistry at The University of Manchester. He strives to enhance his clinical practice by combining the latest advances in technology and research ensuring aesthetic as well as biocompatible, functional and long lasting restorative care. Outside work he enjoys travelling, sports & comedy.

Dr Stavros Eleftheriou - Associate Dentist

Dr Stavros Eleftheriou is a Specialist in Maxillofacial & Oral Surgery in Cyprus and a Specialist in Oral Surgery in the UK.

After his graduation from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, he continued his surgical training in Israel (Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Rambam Healthcare Campus, Haifa, Israel). Following the completion of his surgical training (General Surgery, Maxillofacial & Oral Surgery), Dr Eleftheriou traveled to Europe and to North America for further refinement of his surgical techniques in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Facial Plastic Surgery and Implantology.

In 2003, Dr Stavros established his practice in Cyprus, offering Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery , Facial Cosmetic Surgery and Implantology.

In 2015, Dr Eleftheriou moved to the UK. His practice is now limited to Advanced Implantology and Reconstructive Oral Surgery. Dr Stavros's main areas of expertise are: Alveolar Bone Reconstruction and Regeneration, the Treatment of Atrophic Maxilla with implants, Full Arch Immediate Loading Restorations and Implants in the Aesthetic Zone.

Dr Stavros Eleftheriou has placed more than 7000 implants. He mentors, lectures, runs courses and workshops on several subjects in implantology, mainly on: Advanced Bone Reconstruction and Regeneration in Implantology, The Treatment of the Atrophic Maxilla with Implants, The use of PRF in Implantology and Oral Surgery, The use of Versah Osseodensification in Implantology and The Cervico by VPI System.

Dr Naveen Karir – Specialist Consultant

Naveen is a GDC registered Specialist in Endodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics & Restorative Dentistry. He works as a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at Birmingham Dental Hospital and provides specialist services within the private sector. He qualified in 2004 from the Victoria University of Manchester and went on to do Vocational Training on the Bedford scheme. After gaining extensive experience in hospital based and general practice, he completed his specialist training at the Birmingham Dental Hospital and is included on the GDC Specialist lists for Endodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry. Naveen went on to accept a Consultant job for 3 years at the prestigious John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford where he was the lead Consultant for Oral Rehabilitation in Head & Neck Cancer patients.

Naveen has a keen interest in Dental Implants, Periodontics and Endodontics. He is published in national journals and teaches undergraduates and postgraduates, having given a range of courses both hands on and lecture based nationally. His research interests include the link between Rheumatoid disease and Periodontics and optimising radiotherapy fields for head and neck cancer patients. He is a member of the British Society of Restorative Dentistry, British Society of Prosthodontics and the Association of Consultants and Specialists in Restorative Dentistry and has held council positions on the BSSPD and BES. Naveen prides himself on his warm and friendly approach to patients and has received numerous compliment letters from patients he has treated both in the hospital and general practice setting.

Dr Max Turner qualified with distinction from the University of Bristol in 2017. He subsequently completed his foundation training under the supervision of Dr Sacranie.

Alongside his daily practice, Max is currently studying for his Master of Science degree in Endodontology at The University of Chester. This gives Max additional knowledge and skills in advanced root canal treatments.
As well as this, Max has an interest in cosmetic dentistry. He enjoys using treatments such as Invisalign (to straighten teeth), tooth whitening and composite bonding to achieve optimal results in a minimally invasive fashion, as well as porcelain veneers and crowns where necessary.
Max is focussed on offering his patients the best treatment options for them. This allows you, as the patient, to determine the path your treatment follows. He always has a friendly, open manner with his patients and enjoys practicing in a relaxed manner.
Outside of dentistry, Max enjoys keeping fit and playing sports.

Shagofta Yasmeen - Associate Dentist

Dr Shagofta Yasmeen (Dental surgeon) graduated in 2000 from the prestigious university St. Barthlomews & The Royal London School Of Medicine & Dentistry, London. She soon then attained her MFGDP membership to The Royal college of Dental Surgeons London, in 2001.

Dr Yasmeen has a curriculum vitae spanning over 20 years working across NHS, Private and Community dental services. She has extensive knowledge in the speciality of general dentistry; looking after her patients’ oral health from both a holistic and preventative perspective. She mentors and educates her patients to believe that optimum health comes from a life -long commitment to the right informed choices to improve health care outcomes. Dr Yasmeen practices Bio-Hacking and regenerative medicine in her personal life and is excited to share her longevity and wellness hacks so that you too can be rejuvenated and reverse and slow down the biological ageing process. Dr Yasmeen is a Level 7 Aesthetic & Cosmetic Dermatology Practitioner from the acclaimed and highly respected Harley Academy, London. She continues her aesthetic practice in non -surgical aesthetics in London and is pursing her passion for skin health, and anti-ageing, with the with the use of medical grade lasers and skincare.

Dr Safa Cheema graduated from the University of Bristol in 2017 with Merits in Clinical Restorative Dentistry, Oral Medicine/Oral surgery and Child Dental Health. Dr Cheema has been working in general practice since and has gained a variety of experience working in practices in the Southwest and Birmingham before coming to Solihull. She has successfully completed exams to gain Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

Dr Cheema has a particular interest in Restorative Dentistry and has completed the prestigious postgraduate certificate in ‘Cosmetic and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry’ with Dr Chris Orr, where she learnt advanced methods in smile design and a wide variety of aesthetic techniques such as whitening, composite restorations, veneers and crowns using the latest evidence base.

She has also done additional training in teeth whitening with Enlighten Smiles.

Dr Cheema has a calm and friendly manner and always likes to explain things clearly. She particularly places emphasis on prevention and wants to work with you to ensure your optimal oral health.

Danni has been the Practice Manager at Water Orton Dental Centre since 2010 and became the Practice Manager at Solihull Dental Centre & Implant Clinic in October 2021. Danni joined Dr Sacranie's team as a Qualified Dental Nurse in 2007 and worked her way up to Practice Manager of both sites.

Danni Qualified as a Dental Nurse at the Birmingham Dental Hospital in 2006. Danni has a qualification certificate Oral Health and has achieved Diploma in Leadership and Management in 2017.

Danni enjoys both Practice Management and still occasionally assists the dentist's and hygienists so as to keep her clinical skills sharp.

   I qualified in 1973 as Dental Nurse during that time I worked in a busy practice assisting dentists with general dentistry. I was very interested in oral surgery and implants and was very fortunate to be given the opportunity to work alongside dentists assisting in these procedures

I have been working at the Solihull Dental Centre & Implant Clinic since 2010 as a Practice Manager and now as Practice Administrator. My role is to ensure the smooth running of the Practice, and all patients have the best individual care possible. I believe patient care is paramount at the Solihull Dental Centre & Implant Clinic.
